Simple Math

My students teach me something new every day. Sometimes they even defy common knowledge. What is the simplest fact you know? Perhaps, it is this one: 1+1=2. Well, it turns out two is not the only answer to one plus one. Can you guess what else is? I'll give you a hint: it's in my name.

First, write 1+1. Then, put an equals sign on top of that. And voila, you get 田.

Honey pie

The 3rd graders in Minnesota sent our 4th graders a huge package of valentines. They each sent a school photo, so Roxanna and I took pictures of our kids with their valentines. They were all eager to get their picture taken, except for this one. Look at him trying to hide!
